Manufacturing process
The order of the process of making the sea lanturns are
- Collect the items
- Paint the jar
- Gather items for decorating
- Separate sand
- Dye the sand three different colors Orange, coral and blue
- Assemble the sand inside the glass jar
- Put the cork in
History
The history of the sea lanterns is that a group from the island needed light so the group started testing out creations for light and Cozie created the sea lanterns while she was putting sand in a jar and found out that it glows.
Significance
The significance of the sand lanterns is very important to the town of Lumis Hollow as that is their source of lighting and without the sand lanterns the people that live in Lumis Island will have trouble seeing in the dark.
