Abandoned Library
Purpose / Function
The purpose of this building is to have a place that is safe for people and for people to work if they want to or to read a book.
Design
The abandoned library is in a tall tree where there are circle top windows as you walk inside the library there are shelves on the sides of the tree and a spiral staircase.
There are seating areas all around with the seating being bean bags and the tables being tree trunks that are cut. The shelves are organized by color. The lighting of the library is fairy lights. The librarian's desk is made out of a plank of wood that is laying on two tree trunks with a typewriter.
The library has typewriters in one of the sections that people can use.
Entries
The entry of the library is a wooden door that is oak and is in the tree trunk where when you open the door there is a wooden spiral staircase that has fairy lights hanging with lights on the wire part to light up the way. The entry is decorated with small glass jars with fairy lights in them and with leaves hanging down.
Sensory & Appearance
Inside the library the scent is coffee that is mixed with peppermint and hot cocoa. The number of lighting is low as it makes it dim but bright enough to see.
Denizens
The people that you can find in there are Cozie and the librarian. There is no one that lives at the library.
Contents & Furnishings
The furniture near the front is simple as it is the front desk and a chair with fairy lights hanging down
The furniture for the typewriter area is a long table made out of wood with typewriters all down in a line. The seating is tree trunks that have been cut and carved into chairs with a circular cushion that is red.
