Yith’Airézen’Eñahkais Æn’Pailynnoire'Horizon

A changling born in the small city of Rivercourt on the plane of Pailynnoire, to two tenant parents. Her mother Vin and father Lodren were both anthropologists working as the properties of the plane's The Honest Snitch gather information on the local culture. As was the tradition of her parent's culture personas would manifest as the person aged. She began life as simply "daughter" a formless person that was her sole persona until about age 4. At that time her cloistered life (protecting her from detection as a changeling) when she spied a teenaged human girl from her window. After a long time, a persona manifested from her study of the behaviors of the girl. This inquisitive and creative human face was named Yith by her mother. It was a local dialect name that translated to "little wonder."   When she was around ten her other two major personas had manifested. A childish, good-natured trickster templated off of a local gnome sorcerer her father named Flit. And in contrast, a mature and freindly dwarf based persona. Her mother named him Dûlwallow, a dwarven translating to "wandering citizen."   These three characters became regulars of the Honest stitch. After her 14 birthday, she was allowed by her father to accompany him to Horizon for the Festival of Journeys. She was amazed by all the sights and sounds of her birthright home. On visiting the original Hosent Snitch, she met an elven bard. Yith fell in love with the eleven maiden. But before anything more then friendship could form, her time in the city had come to an end. Once home she obsessively painted portraits of her unrealized love. Dûwallow was playfully adversarial to all of this. Flit grew more irresponsible and had less time in manifestation as time went on.   Before she turned 16 Airézen had appeared. Graceful, confident, and gifted in music she represented the idealized woman Yith had seen in her elven infatuation. For most of the next few years, Airézen was manifest most of the time, supplanting Flit. Flit descended into the lower consciousness with the other minor personas.   Studying music, storytelling, and spellcraft she became a fine bard. Her parents incourged this and it helped business at the stitch as well. Dûwallow became a listening patron collecting stories on nights Ariézen was off. And the quiet Yith continued to develop her painting but became shy over time.   By her coming of age she had become Yith’Airézen’Düwallow Æn’Pailynnoire'Horizon. With her family’s blessing, she traveled back to Horizon to seek her fortune. After four years of work she had established herself. Yith had become a portrait painter with the city, producing official identification pictures. Airézen had become a regular player at a few taverns and music halls in town. And Düwallow, well he spent their money well and made many friends.   Airézen and Dûwallow began to long for adventure. Placing the burden on Yith to seek work through her city hall contacts they began a new life as an adventurer.   This culminated in a chance meeting the Meridians . And after a time she and fellow novice adventurers Mobahn and Val became regulars at Meridians Gate.   She eventually survived the Trails of the 4th Zennith, becoming a Meridian. But the trial caused the primitive persona of Mirror to manifest as a full personality when Düwallow was mortally wounded. Fusing the dwarf's impulsive and self-serving impulses with Mirror's cynical and tenacious nature; caused Eñahkais to be born. Dûwallow became submerged and bound to the dark aspects of her subconscious, trapping his persona into unconsciousness. Joyful to be existent and fearful of being only temporary and possibly unmade Eñahkais has tried to ingratiate herself to the other personas. Despite her fragile and longing nature she has a self-defeating a sharp tongue, matched with a mercurial, and defensive personality Eñahkais is also desperate for acceptance despite her toxic way of talking.

Trained by members of the bardic college of Pailynnoire and later fine bards of Horizon.

Yith still does occasional work for the ID department of the city. And Airézen still plays at taverns across Horizon.
