SE06 : EP12 - Taking a Long Ride

The city is a buzz with the installation dinner of the two new council women Naomi Mason and Galena Novra.   After the dinner is over, the party travels into the night. They follow Mobahn to a dance hall in Little Pacadrem. It turns out to be lover's night, and due to the polyamorous nature of the local Loxadon, after a bit of miss understanding Mercy Isovich , Yith’Airézen’Eñahkais Æn’Pailynnoire'Horizon , Merit , and Cassandra gon "with" him.   After a few drinks, Merit exits to get some air and finds a vendor selling food that no one was taken him up on. Purchasing some, she brings it back in finding Mo'Bahn. His refined palette finds it not that tasty. Meanwhile, Cass is sitting with Eñahkais as a guy tries to chat her up. Eventually, the Changling puts her face in her hand, holding the shots-induced headache. As the guy keeps trying to talk, she glares with one red eye from between her fingers. Cass asks if the guy is bothering her. Eñahkais nods her head. Cass looks at the man's face, "Stop, go away." Her icy look caused him to shrink and back off.   The party gathers up and notices that Mo'Bahn seems to be shrinking. They pick him up and look for help in the city once he gets shorter than three feet. They flee into the night and run into Stratous. The Councilman is intoxicated and not sporting an afro. He calls them out for being drunk. And when tiny Mo'Bahn says he hasn't drunk anything since he shrunk.   Stratos says then they should get the Loxodon some shot. They chime in, teeny shots. They end up in the Humblewood district trying to convince a hedgehog and a fox to get them thimbles of liqueur.   The following day they all find themselves in the barracks at Meridian's Gate , unsure how they got there. As they nurse headaches, they help Mo'Bahn sit in all the dainty seats he could when he was normal size, at least until the effect wears off.
