SE06 : EP06 - World of Glass Part III

They follow on, walking behind Sassissismasisah on the way to their village. The village is nestled in a create. Various trapdoors are buried in the bed of the floor. Multiple colored oozlings, each having at least a height of six feet, mill around, focused on daily tasks. Their guide shows the sights of the encampment with noticeable pride. The party sees how they use the acidity of other bodies to work the crater large. The Ooxlings focus on self-improvement and growth, only erratically finding newly spawned beings to the tribe. They find disdain for the plasmoid and its constant division.   They learn that there is an upcoming parley between the two peoples. Sassissismasisah invites them to join. They accept the invitation, commenting on how Horizians grow is through absorbing knowledge. Their guide is intrigued by this concept of "Absorbing."   Soon they find themselves out in the forest, walking with half a dozen or so oozings. The party tries to make sense of the two midsts. Many of their conversations keep ringing about how these two peoples came into being. An impressively large tree rises out of the tree line. As they come upon it, a clearing opens around it. There is an ornate molding in the form of a moon. Across the way, Ulululululu, Bwaaaugh, and about twenty more of the plasmoid.   The mentions are palatable. They start to shout are each other in shimmering percussion and shrieking whistles. Allory cries out, silencing the discord. She then demands they respect the parley. Ulululululu asks how they could possibly work with them. And Sassissismasisah agrees on this point. Allory grabs hold of the situation again and begins to force them through a mediated conversation.   The ground trembles. Looks are exchanged. Before anyone takes in the situation, three massive humanoids made of jagged translucent blue glass stomp into the clearing. The oozelings and plasmoids split off into their respective groups, each chased by one of the glass monstrosities. Drawing weapons. Allory sighs and draws her weapons. As they batter on the creature, shards of glass pour out of its wounds, charged with magical energies of the blows the party deals. They surround it and try to kill it as quickly as they can. The creature hangers the party to the point some of them take shelter. t as they brawl with it, Merrit strikes the glass monster with a final blow.   As they dust off, the two ooze tribes return to the clearing. They are arm in arm, having killed the other beasts together. There is a strong bond forged, and they thank the party of "speedlings." After gathering supplies they all starts on their separate ways. Allory asks the Strixhaven students how they enjoyed their first Wayfinder mission.
