SE04 : EP26 - Red Zone pt.16

Cassandra stalks into the room. Parthas concenrates weaving greater invisibility upon her. Noticing another person walking away down one of the hallways. Once in front her opponent she unleashes a flury of blows. Zaps of electricity arc into her as she  makes contact. Grabbing him she tosses him back the entry hallway towards the party. The attend lands in a heap, out cold.   Voices speaking an unknown language are heard. A moment later a person arives and starts to look around the room for his fellow. seeing so marks of the struggle they call for another. They discuss in the foreign lounge the situation. Attacking from invisibility Cass starts the fight against them.  Ryder moves up and dispatches the other figure. The party begin investigating the area. Another person arrives seeing the bodies and runs off after seeing the bodies. Eñahkais casts hideous laughter causing the target to drop to the floor writhing in laughter. While the other discover a room of horrors, creatures in various forms of transformation into abominations.  The pulse with life but seem unawares. Parathas Solori examing on of the magic circle seemingly holding it. This causes it to lose its power and the creature that falls out screams in pain as closing wounds burst open. Foam spils from his mouth and lighting arc out of him. Parathas throws a burst of arcane at him, silencing him.   Leaf moves alongside Enahkais asking what was going on. She replys, "We need quiet him..." Cass opens a series of punches from invisbility at the laughing creeature. The laughter stops as Cass returns to being seen. Leaf finish them off. The rooms go quiet again.   Daphix starts destroying the remaining abominations with a burning sphere  in the lab. The rest fan out looking around. Cass discovers a portal, some sort of inactive planar door. Leaf looks in the central tank as the altered being of scales, claws, and gills. Enahkais finds a room of surgical instruments and paperwork. Ryder discovers the ledgers and notes of the wicked experimentations going on.    Over the next hour they as many items, vials, tools, and documents. After collecting as much as they can they start to figure out how to leave. This leads them to congrigate in the room with the portal. Ryder records the runes along its edges. Unstable to understand how to activate it, they raise two of the attendants to question them. When they awaken they kill themselves with devices in there mouth that immolate the inside of there heads completely.   They decide to leave it be. The party leaves, headed back to the dock. Meanwhile Daphix moves the earth blocking the portal's aperture. They use the boat to travel out. It takes hours to arrive at an open cavern. From there they take a twisting path back to massive hole that is Zonot 7.   They meet with Zachary and hav ehim fly them back to Zonot 1. Upon srriving Leaf is given a letter from the barkeep. It is an invitation to join the Selesnya. Daphix spends the next few explaining begin a tennat and the rules if he wants Leaf to follow.   Ryder and Yith spend the night organizing and reviewing the documents they collected. In the morning they are exhausted but have prepared the documentation to clear their names. At first light they head to the Ohrzov.    They spend an exhaustive amount of time before finally begin summoning.
