Witch Queen Ascension ritual
- Hecate has been in deep somnambulance since the scattering of Atlantis
- The Witch Queens attempted true ascension with ancient rites of ascension attempting to transfer the elder divine spark of the slumbering Hecate from her to them.
- To do this the ritual, they attempted involved multiple circles of magic in an intricate linked arcane pattern so that the raw power of Hecate did not pass directly to the witches and obliterate them in the process. Many proxies, gathering pools, arcane holding chambers and arcane channels to funnel controlled amounts of Hecate’s raw energy were required. Hecate’s divine spark was channelled through multiple planes to further reduce risk which required the Witch Queens to separate themselves into multiple forms.
- So that their many forms didn’t move away from each other many anchor points were required by the Witch Queens to perform the ascension rites. These included one prime point for each Witch Queen at one the 3 First Temples of Hecate located:
- "Common knowledge" is that as the unstable form of Hecate is adrift in the Void inside the prison of Atlantis , when it suddenly shifted away from the anchor points, the Witch Queens were unable to untangle themselves from her in time and their forms split across multiple planes causing a permanent disjunction in their forms.
- Due to a wave of ‘black time’ created by the failed ritual, all knowledge of other attendees at the Ascension Ritual during the ‘black time’ event which went backwards and forwards in time.
- They have only become active recently due to the emerging discontinuance event shifting the spaces containing Hecate closer to Holocene, enabling them to reform for brief moments. Their priority is to reform through coherence rituals. Their second priority is to seek once again the great raw power of the Elder Goddess of Witches.
- Each form in each dimension/space can be released by a different method
- If the Witch Queens had've/do claim Hecate’s Divine Spark, Hecate will diminish with her comatose form forever trapped in the Spaces. The Witch Queens will become powerful cosmic beings, but not gods.
- The Ritual was subverted by Toreja supported in secret by Letetia
- What is truly scret chest of forbidden knowledge is that the ritual was provided by, or at the least given direction with how to put it together by Geele, who gave it to very young Toreja, Letetia and Nuni
- Geele failed to reveal the cost of releasing Hecate and Letetia rebuilt the ritual, to scatter the Witch Queens across the Places and give Tori the best chance to escape into the Great Beyond.
- One of the consequences of this change was to create a magical net about the Loa, trapping those within existence inside this existence, meaning they can longer fall freely through all existences.
