  Ophion and Essen notice a invisible dragon-esque creature. "Right time. Wrong place."   Arriving on a hot savanna, later revealed to be at the edge of Jade Jungle, battle can be heard.   Dwayne, Gimblenock and Ophion stealthily approach the fight. A Carkade Spartoi (Wyvern rider) comes flying around a tree. Sword flicks out. Blood sprays. Gimblenock sneaks ahead. Sees a village on fire. 11 more Spartoi. More Karkade troops (cr. Huatl-Het from SMG02)   Carkade Noble sacrifices a tribal elder and absorbs his essence.   Dawn uses Divine Word. Priestess unaffected.
Spartoi = 4 blind & deaf
Riders = 5 deaf. 5 blind & deaf.
  Ophion Dimension Doors 120 feet away from Priestess with Gimblenock and Essen. Gimblenock casts Chain Lightning. 50 dmg. 3 casualties.
Ophion casts Fireball on the Priestess. Surrounded by 9 soldiers. All soldiers dead. Priestess takes 33 dmg (vulnerable to fire)
Essen casts Call Lightning. Priestess transfers damage to a soldier.
  Dwayne teleports to Priestess. Misses first attack. Second hits on 26 - Distracting Strike & 14 dmg. Misses third. Priestess AC 21.   Priestess swings for Dwayne. Misses. Attacks with Dreadful Glare. Dwayne passes WIS save.   Dawn casts Hallow on self with protection from Slash damage.   Priestess attacks Ophion, Essen and Gimblenock. Ophion and Essen take 40 Force dmg. Gimblenock avoids damage.   Soldiers attack Dwayne. One hits. One misses, which Dwayne parries for 15 dmg. Dwayne takes 15 dmg from Soldier.   Gimblenock casts Fire Bolt at the Priestess.   Ophion moves in 60 feet   Dwayne attacks the soldiers. 19 dmg to the first. Sweeping Attack to tthe second (9 dmg). Second attack = 14 dmg on first
Sweeping Attack takes out second. Action Surge for three more attacks. First fails, second hits (15 dmg), third hits (12 dmg)   The wyverns begin to dive attack. An amber Spartoi apparition appears in front of attacking wyvern and does auto damage to Gimblenock (astral companion). Spartoi does 11 dmg.
Second Spartoi throws javelins at Gimblenock.   Priestess attacks Dwayne again. Critical hit. 31 Necrotic dmg.   Soldier hits Gundark.   Gimblenock sneak attacks Priestess for 23 dmg. Priestess responds with Blasphemous Word targetting Dwayne and Gundark.   Ophion hits Priestess for 15 dmg.   Priestess tries to Dominate Gundark. Fails. Uses Whirlwind of Sand to withdraw 60 feet.   Gimblenock casts Chain Lighthning on Priestess. Priestess dead.   Villagers tell party about pyramid complex that have shown up out of nowhere about a year ago. Village been raided for some time.   Edge of the Guptarid Dynasty.   Rueben switches places with Gundark for some exposition on the nature of gods and doesn't get around to explaining what he was trying to explain. Party go to the Otherwhere. Rueben came from elsewhere. **** Are the brothers innately connected to the Otherwhere? ****

Gundark's Belt of Storm Giant Strength has been returned somehow.   Dragons are part of the original Places, hence can move between all places. Gold Dragon Monarchs are also without time.   The Carkade Terror Bird Royal House rule from Terror Bird City, the nearest Carkade city that has now fully emerged from the Time Void. This is the Carkade Noble House the Carkade Priestess serves - she's now reforming next to her mummified heart deep within the city.   The Terror Bird Noble House is the same one that controlled Pocyoh where the Crystal Dawn was cast into the Time Void by the BMG to save her from the Carkade:

Zarathustra communes with the party briefly and tells them about the Gold Dragon Covenant Ingot and that the Terror Bird City Great Pyramid contains the Sacred Archives of the Terror Bird House, including the Gold Ingot of Confinement.   Schmoozing with the BMG, Zarathustra pleads his totally honest truthful case with the party that he is agreement with the Carkade is a deal with the devil to protect his people, and that he at least cares about the mortals, unlike his cold, uncaring dumpster fire of a father Zoroaster.   After much discussion, party heads to the Carkade pyramid complex in the Terror Bird City. To steal the Gold Ingot and to better understand what the hell the Carkade are up to (remembering this is a fully Time Void emergent city and Carkade Noble House, one among 12, and that the Emperor and Empress, along with Tlatoani Yoliyamanitencatl, the Voice of Ammutseba haven't even revealed themselves).   To get to the Golden Ingot, Zarathustra will light a path up to the right hand pyramid in the City of the Terror Bird.
