Arson

Not much is known about Arson's early life but he eventually got together with his wife, Areen, and had a daughter, Arisys. As a lesser demon slave, he worked in a mine alongside his young daughter. When he heard their province was being taken over, he cut Arisys's and his own face to make them unappealing to the invaders in an attempt to save them.    Once in Avaria, he did his best to find work but struggled more than his wife. He had no skills beyond manual labor and unlike in most places greater demons were preferred for manual labor in Avaria. When Areen was attacked and needed around the clock, professional care Arson went into the military to pay for it.    His relationship with Areen went from that of a husband and wife to a caregiver and their dependent. Feeling increasingly isolated and lacking emotional support he turned to Delja, a greater demon who had been his friend since they came to Avaria. They entered a relationship quietly, though they both always knew if Areen got better, Arson would return to that relationship instead.   Arson was eventually captured in battle with the Epherian Alliance and was forced back into slavery as a lesser demon. He never gave up on trying to get back home, however, using any means necessary to get closer to the border. An Epherian soldier named Phey eventually took him with her to the warfront against Avaria as a bedservant. When the Epherian Alliance suffered a crushing defeat, the Avarian's took over their camp and freed the lesser demons there, Arson included.   Arson returned home to learn his daughter had joined the military and raised two human children. He also learned that he had a son.
