Oslo

Oslo is a deserted ex-Lieutenant of Armada . He now serves as The Prisoners helmsman and chef.  

Personality

Oslo is gregarious, energetic, and stubborn zebra. He frequently ends his sentences with "man". He despises unnecessary violence, pirates, and dragons. He is highly conservative and critical of anything that could pollute nature, especially older model Armada ships that don't run on a Core Drive or Cloud Capture technology.   Oslo frequently gets into relationships with other fey and ends them as quickly as they started, as he admits to fear romantic commitment.  

Abilities

Oslo is a somewhat mediocre fighter. He is a black belt in Pankration, the martial art of Armada, but prefers not to fight when possible. He is an extremely skilled Helmsman, once described by his captain to be possibly the best helmsmen he ever met. Oslo is also a talented cook, and takes great pride in cooking, viewing it as an artform.  

Background

Childhood

Olso was a quiet and shy foal. His parents lived in a pirate haven of Ohigha in South System where he had an exceptionally brutal childhood. His father was a sadistic buccaneer who'd frequently torment Armada marines. His mother was usually absent, perpetually drunk and away from the home. Armada destroyed Ohigha in 730, killing both his parents. Oslo had fallen ill during this time, and a druid of Solstice Ring restored him back to health. This experience would color his perspective on Esperanto for the rest of his life.   Armada sheltered Oslo and he was soon adopted by a farming family in Archibast. He grew up in a very religious town, and was known to be a rambunctious, rebellious, and troubled child with a soft spot for leshy and wildlife of the land and a dreadful fear of violence due to his traumatic infancy. He joined Armada at 16, the youngest possible age to begin training as a cadet. There he quickly became a model soldier, and was sent to Red Miles at the young age of 21. There he met Electra . Oslo generally was dismissive of Electra, calling her "disgusting" due to her Dragon heritage. However, after an event in their training, Oslo learned to see past his prejudiced tendencies to befriend her.  

Gotmouth Arc

Oslo was knocked unconscious on the Prisoner ship with Electra and the rest of the prisoners. He later joined them, and helped them escape the dome that was placed over Overwood.
