Marrow Kingdom Arc

The story begins in the underground Marrow Kingdom, a society that bans all magic. Most inhabitants think that the world has ended.   In the city of Coredeep, a young wizard Ping Wing and his teacher Marscarene plan an expedition to leave The Marrow Kingdom and practice magic freely on the surface, as Marscarene knew that the surface isn't deadly. Their plan is nearly foiled, as Tsavo, Ping Wing's childhood bully, discovers them. Ultimately she tags along, wanting to see what the surface is like as she seems utterly bored with noble life.   Suddenly, Akun the Breaker, a knight of Tsavo's family who followed her to Marscarene's house, accosts the party, finding that they posses illegal magical items. The party is forced to flee from Akun's wrath. To avoid her, they decide to take the much more dangerous Maw of Innocence cave system to travel to Edge, the city closest to the planet's surface.
The Maw Of Innocence proves to be extremely dangerous, so the party exits the cave system to rest at another underground city, Waterdown. There, the party encounters other adventurers willing to escape. They meet Early Rise: a warrior obsessed with finding magic artifacts despite the fact they're illegal, Longfolia: an inventor wanting to develop better ways to live without magic, and Civrev: a mysterious traveler who was forced to live in the kingdom after he claims to have fell from above the surface. Civrev confirms that the surface is indeed safe, but his memories are hazy from the fall.   The party encounters Akun once more, and is forced to flee again. They enter the upper caves of the Maw of Innocence, and find a mysterious underground lab.

Tsavo and Akun, rivals since childhood, punch each other simultaneously, as Early Rise tries to wrestle a spellbook away from Ping Wing.

This lab is filled with undead creatures from some magical experiment gone horribly wrong. The party learns that before the Marrow Kingdom was forced underground, another kingdom tampered with some kind of magic that destroyed the surface of the planet and rendered it unsuitable for life, forcing everyone underground and making everyone fearful of magic for centuries.   The party encounters a seemingly regenerating undead lion, and narrowly escape to continue exploring deeper into the caves.
"Do we really have to do this again? Clearly, this thing, it's not too good at dying." - Civrev
The party finally makes it to Edge, finding a secret tunnel to the Marrow King's castle. They try to blend in with the staff, but some of the party members are sniffed out by Spymaster Domia.   Unexpectedly, Akun the breaker arrives to the Marrow Castle to inform the king of the party's plot to escape. To make matters worse, Tsavo kidnaps the queen. Akun and Tsavo fight, as the rest of the party battle Domia, who uses magic spells. She reveals that the magic ban was a farce the upper nobles used to keep power.
Akun narrowly defeats Tsavo. The party is ready to leave without her as she split from the group, and the guards are closing in, but Ping Wing dashes back to save her. Together, the party manages to defeat Akun and find a hidden room in the castle with an airship. The party escapes, as Ping Wing proclaims his love for Tsavo.

The newly formed Sock Pirates escape from The Marrow Kingdom aboard their new ship: Dawn Rising.

Littlewood Arc

The newly freed escapees explore the surface, which is covered by clouds before being swept up to see the top layer of Mercy, which is covered in floating islands. They approach the pirate haven of Littlewood, and agree to work on helping the people there with a fuel supply issue.
After a mission into the savanna, the group returns to find Littlewood, as well as their ship, have both vanished. They descend to lower islands to find that pirates stole their ship, and get it back. Just when the party thinks their safe, a giant ball of light rises into the sky, revealing itself as the being that destroyed the town. A hole in the cloud layer is created by this cataclysmic event, revealing the surface of the planet below.   The party narrow escapes from the ball of light.
Battling the Sun Kin of the Savanna
The party retrieves Dawn Rising and meets Roo, the former captain of the town who agrees to join their crew.   The party then sets off and finds the town of Shady Oaks. They meet an old Armada Veteren, Falls, who finds a giant cart of alcohol outside his home. As they visit with him, a pirate ship from the Swamp Pirates attacks, and the party narrowly defeats them.

Sisters Arc

After the battle, the party gets a new ship, Grace, a sleek black sloop. They dub themselves The Sock Pirates. The newly formed Sock Pirates travel close to The Sisters, a large, rocky island. They fly to a smaller island nearby with a single building, The Pink Dice Bar, a hive of debauchery.
At the bar, the party meet two mysterious kirin sisters. Tsavo mistakenly thinks Ping Wing is being swayed by them, and fights these Kirin. Tsavo is, for the first time, defeated easily. The kirin disappear as quickly as they came, leaving the party to wonder who they were.     Longfolia, Civrev, and Early rise meet a small band of deliveryponies who lost a package when traveling over a rocky island simply called The Sisters.
Battling the Sun Kin of the Savanna

The party then decides to enter The Sisters dungeon to retrieve it, uncovering a strange lab where carrion golems were made. The dungeon proves dangerous, a s they encounter two Terracotta machines that nearly defeat them.   Upon exiting the dungeon, the party is accosted by more Swamp Pirates, They narrowly escape with their lives, as Civrev is overwhelmed with divine will energy and blinds the swamp pirates long enough for them to escape.
Civrev finds the dairy's of a poor soul who was lost in The Sisters

The Burning Forest Arc

On their way to the Burning forest, the group stops at an Armada base at Abandoned Visage. There they hear of Captain Mora, a bloodthirsty and cruel captain who hangs her own men. They meet Lieutenant Neko, and do a mission for her to save some stranded Armada marines from Dire Wolves.
Longfolia impresses a bat pony mechanic named Molyneux by helping him to repair a heating component.

The party travels to the Burning Forest and encounters an old alchemist, Nanny, who once was a member of The Coven, she tells Civrev that his divine magic is illegal and being hunted by The Coven, and helps him retrieve some of his memories, informing him of a great tree that he once hid out in with other members of an organization that studied divine magic called The Stellar Seekers.
Civrev recovers his memories
Intrigued by the revelations, Civrev and the party embark on a quest to find the great tree. Upon reaching the tree, they discover it in a weakened state, having been destroyed by "Wind Druids." Civrev explores the tree and its surroundings but finds no significant clues about his past. During their exploration, they encounter a lost and peculiar filly who is being attacked by Leshy creatures. The party saves her, although Tsavo displays frustration at the girl's behavior.   The party accompanies the girl to the nearby town of North Hoofsteady, where they meet Old Man Jenko, an elderly resident. Jenko reveals that the girl is, in fact, the governor's daughter and has a history of running away. The party realizes the gravity of the situation, as the governor has been arrested under false accusations of being a cultist. The recent catastrophic events, including the destruction of Littlewood, have fueled hysteria and paranoia in the region.   Suspecting that Captain Mora is behind the governor's arrest, the party devises a plan to escape the city. However, they discover that Captain Mora has taken possession of the talking tree and secured it in the local Armada base. To retrieve the tree, the party employs magical disguises, with Civrev impersonating a bossy lieutenant. Utilizing their disguises, they gain access to the base and successfully retrieve the tree, which is already in a withered and dying state.   Acknowledging the tree's request, the party makes a bold decision. They throw the face of the Great Tree off the island into the storm below, while safeguarding the tree's last remaining seed, which represents its legacy. The dying tree expresses gratitude, having fulfilled its final purpose.   Taking advantage of the ensuing chaos and confusion surrounding the governor's arrest and the stolen tree, the party seizes the opportunity to escape the island. With the tree's seed in their possession, they make their way out of the Burning Forest and continue their journey, leaving behind the tumultuous events of the island.
