Physical Description
General Physical Condition
Most folk would likely say he is certainly more lanky than not. While certainly lighter weight, after spending most of his life underground, and a long period of time on a ship, constantly in unwanted wrestling-matches with a monk, his lank is not as apparent
Body Features
With his bird half being more penguin-esque, it is no suprise that he cannot fly. However, this does not stop him from being able to carry himself into a glide. His feathers, while not as hydrophobic as what most might think, retain a much more fluffy, thankfully aerodynamic plumage.
Facial Features
Floofy down on his face alludes to most of his moods. When angry or embarrassed, for example, his feathers pull up, making his face look all the more floofier. This is in contrast to a more scared expression, making them flatten down more to his body.
Identifying Characteristics
His most identifiable features are his crest, and the penguin coloration of his feathers. However, when his appearance would be detrimental to himself or a group, he typically changes these features with illusions so he is much-less recognizable.

Education
While never technically 'properly' educated in the fields of magic he specs into, he is nevertheless incredibly intelligent. It takes him little to no time to determine different forms of magic, casting, and how to adapt it into his own arsenal of utility.
Most of his training and learning was done illegally underground with his partner, Marcerene.
Employment
Living most of his life underground, he found a great friendship and tutelage with an establishment owner named Marcerene. Most of his employment was within her establishment, helping bus tables or cleaning up the place among other small jobs that always made the place feel cleaner than most others thanks to spells such as prestidigitation that he knew, but was never allowed to tell anyone about.
Accomplishments & Achievements
Most of Ping Wing's accomplishments he doesn't necessarily brag about. The ones he shows though are typically done to ensure others may not get the nerve to hurt him or his allies. These accomplishments typically come in the form of small trinkets, badges, feathers, or other small items from his victories that can be tied or attached to his adventuring gear.
Intellectual Characteristics
Much of his mentality through his adventures come across as either idealistic or unrealistic to most. In his own mind, places and situations he finds himself in can be visualized as an overly-dramatic comic, detailing downfalls, rising action, and climactic battles. This, of course, leads to some fairly melodramatic moments with the bird that any wayward bard would more than likely have a field-day telling a story about.
Morality & Philosophy
A lot of Ping Wing's general philosophies lie along the idea of "Don't mess with me, and we won't mess with you". Generally good-aligned, however, he no problem skirting that line when the more disenfranchised individuals of the world find themselves at the mercy and whim of tyrants.

Vices & Personality flaws
His biggest vice is his interest in girls. Lust, in itself would be his greatest sin. While not completely apparent with most of his actions, he can certainly be easily charmed into doing something if it'll make a girl happy with him.

Prestidigitation is one hell of a spell. Very clean hippogriff hours.

Family Ties
Ping Wing is an orphan, and never exactly knew his family. Closest thing he has to family is Marcerene, as the two of them spent years together in their illegal practices.
Religious Views
He isn't exactly religious, but that doesn't stop him from wanting to know more about what belief can do in order to attune to other magic. In terms of his interests in the divine, he is pretty well-learned in the study of the stars and how they might guide one's energy thanks to an oracle by the name of Civrev.
Mannerisms
Generally well-mannered, he only ever starts to get mellodramatic at key moments of the little story he concocts in his head. These typically influence bigger, more erratic decisions.
Hobbies & Pets
While not a pet, his best friend is a small penguin familiar by the name of Gunter
Speech
His speech is somewhat hampered by the fact that he can't pronounce his hard 'r' sounds very well. The word 'very' becomes 'vewy', or 'rude' becomes 'wude'.
