Personal history
Padel is the owner of the Orozco estate in Barrunkilldon. A proud Nelevari and a human, he and his family have lived in the city for nearly 80 years. There they produce a the highly coveted Orozco Whiskey.
Padel's wife recently passed from an illness the developed suddenly after an explosion in the Ironside district. His three sons all died during the Ontalian War. His daughter married some young and adventurous Stonehoof from Cimbria who whisked her off to the country right as the civil war began. Thus, Padel, the sole remaining Orozco, owns and manages the estate.
The Orozco family built their estate in the city 1130 S.J. well before tensions were so great with Mirath. The made great whiskey. The original estate was located in the Ironside district until the Ontalian War began at which point Mirathen-aligned citizens burned down and forced the family to flee, but Pedal was left behind. He later learned the rest of the family that had fled all died in a tragic shipwreck. Pedal was 23 when this occurred and worked for the next 8 years helping the city's people while the war raged. He ended up marrying a local Orhvari woman.
When Nelevar secured the city in 1178 S.J., Pedal had to reveal himself as Nelevari to avoid his family being thrown in prison. However, he bargained on debhalf of the locals to secure them better living conditions during the occupation of the city as a Naval base. He was encouraged to restart his estate and given some land in the Golden Ridge. Some old companions of his viewed this as a betrayal, others as an opportunistic businessman.

Pedal employs a staff of Soulforged that were recently produced. They work his fields and the distillery. He does employ a few locals, but doesn't trust many to handle the process.
