Dragons

Halor's history with dragons is as storied as it is enigmatic. Legends from the Age of Storms claim many heroes rode into battle astride many vareity of dragons to ward of the demons that had invaded the plane. Older, cryptic texts, hint that dragons assisted in shaping the very world alongside the Divine Quinternion. Mythical claims aside, modern knowledge of dragons is based on the writings of Aurumirvynth, a Gold Dragon who became heavily involved Ormystian society during the first outbreak of Vesper Blight on the continent.

Quarothystrum

Quarothystrum is the Aeviternal who first created dragons. His first creations were a Consort of Greatwyrms, immortal matron dragons of immense prophetic and arcane power. With each Greatwyrm, Quarothystrum bred with them to create a unique lineage of dragons for the Greatwyrm to lead and rule. When Quarothystrum was corrupted by Usos during the Chaos Wars, his Consort began to fight amonst one another along with their progeny. Some sided with Usos and their corrupted god, other opposed them, and yet others set our on their own. This schism deeply afflicted the Greatwyrms and their dragons causing them to spread out amongst the planes, distrusting and hating one another.
