Attributes

To generate Attributes, roll 4d6 and drop the lowest result. Sum the remainder. Do this a total of 8 times to generate 8 Attribute scores, and assign them in any order. Be aware, your ancestry and culture may affect your final scores. You may want to plan ahead before settling on your final decision.   The 9 Attributes are as follows:   Strength (STR) modifier is applied to melee and thrown weapon damage, and to STR-based skill checks, as well as to Stress Hit Dice. Your encumbrance thresholds are determined by your STR score.   Agility (AGI) modifier is applied to Defense, Initiative, and AGI-based skill checks.   Dexterity (DEX) modifier is applied to DEX-based skill checks.   Memory (MEM) modifier is applied to Skill Points per level, MEM-based skill checks, to MEM-based spellcasters' bonus Mana per day, and MEM-based channelers' bonus Psi Points per day.   Insight (INS) modifier applies to INS-based skill checks, INS-based casters' bonus Mana per day, and INS-based channelers' bonus Psi Points per day.   Perception (PER) modifier is applied to PER-based skill checks.   Faith (FAI) modifier is applied to FAI-based skill checks, and FAI-based caster's bonus Mana per day.   Charm (CHA) modifier is applied to CHA-based skill checks, and CHA-based casters' bonus Mana per day.   Composure (COM) modifier is applied to COM-based skill checks.
