Suweskivar
Suweskivar, also known as Suheskivar, is an ancient Samvaran religion devoted to the Goddess Halcyon, through her prophet Lily of Red. The name literally means the People of the Blessed Covenant, referring to the Three Covenants between mortalkind and Halcyon allowing for the world to live in peace and for people to go to heaven. Most relevant to the Suweskivari faithful was the Covenant of Heaven: the pact between Lily of Red and Halcyon, by which mortalkind can gain the blessings of magic and Paradise after death in exchange for moral behavior.
Suweskivar is now more of a religious group than a religion. Three main faiths have formed from Lily's teachings:
A number of Sumoxan communities also believe in basic Suweskivari principles and traditions.
All those who believe in the Covenants and seek to follow them fall under the broad label of "Suweskivari" or "Suheskivari".
Just because these religions agree on the same basic ideas and gods doesn't make them friendly with one another. The Suweskivari faiths have been known to fight terrible between each other.
The Suheskivari Calendar is commonly used by all of these covenant-keeping communities.
