Queen Yena
Queen Yena is the legendary founder of the Empire of Calazen, an ancient bronze-age queen who was blessed with the Saltspear, a magical Sudraco steed, and a divine child by the God Tishal. Her son, Ghavi, would be the ancestor of all Divine-blooded sorcerers and most Half Prisms.
In the religion of Nedira and the state mythology of the Empire of Calazen, Yena is a prophet and essentially a demigod. Some believe that she has influence over the mortal world and that she blesses those who obey her laws with health, courage, and luck.

Personal history
Queen Yena was born in the early bronze age to the Etezjo tribe near modern day Etezja as the eldest daughter of the chief-priest-architect. Her mother is known in the modern day by a later title given to her, 'Mazenha,' though her original name was Yuda. Mazenha/Yuda became the first queen of the Etezjo by election and Yena quickly ascended to become the leader of the tribe's warriors.
As the fledgling Etezjo kingdom and city grew under Yuda's rule, a coalition of enemies gathered against them. Yena led the campaigns of subjugation against them, driving many tribes into the desert and subjugating others as dependents or slaves. Eventually, The Chimera - also known as Tishal - gave Yena their blessings. With the Saltspear and Sudraco, Yena conquered much of the riverlands and ascended to the throne as a divine monarch. Yena bore the Chimera's child, Ghavi, and struggled to raise the willful demigod after the God left them alone afterwards. Yena was a distant mother, drawn away by the toil of rule, and died with deep regrets in how she raised her son - and resentment towards the God that she felt had used her for his own glorification.
