Ephemera

Ephemera is a shattered planetoid that has greatly prolongued its last days. Once a honeycombed and material-rich planetoid, Ephemera is now a scant third its original mass, and shaped roughly like an apple core. Overmining has weakened the structure of the planetoid, including its core. Planetary destruction from climate neglect, natural disasters, and brutal resource wars, has turned much of the planetoid's original mass into a vast astroid belt that surrounds it. Ephemera is closely orbited by several artificial celestial satellites, with irregular programmed courses.

The topside surface, comprised of Pandemonium and the surrounding Nether Regions, is continually ravaged by Miasma Clouds. Infernals thrive here because of evolved immunities. The subterranean ecosystem of Telluria supports the Tellurian culture.
