Gensang Medium {godly go between}
Gensang the color of the shards they become upon death are believed to be closer to the gods and the deceased; dancing on the veil of mortality.
[positiom] is extremely important to Gensang, when there is one, as they are taught how to commune with spirits and souls.
Spirit mediumship in this lens is more akin to dipping a ladle into an ocean of knowledge. The water in the ladle representing a past individual’s spirit, and through them you may commune with the greater pool of knowledge. Communing with mortal souls in this way doesn't really yield this result, but communing with shikigami does. Specifically with Book Eaters and Forest Sprites, who are intrinsically connected with knowledge and nature respectively.
Requirements
This position is only filled by Gensang the color of the "shards" they dissolve into upon death; light blue. These Gensang are always in this position, regardless of how they feel about it.
Cultural Significance
As a religious role, they are almost revered, but as individuals, they are isolated and stigmatized.
