Nephilim - Demonic

When the fallen angels first disobeyed their holy orders, among the first acts of meddling with human affairs they indulged in was partaking in traditional human pleasures; eating, drinking, gambling, and of course, copulation. Even with their vast knowledge, however, they did not knew of their ability to conceive children of their own, and before they realized, nephilim had been introduced to the world.   Though the nephilim initially terrified the fallen angels with the possibility of greater punishment, they soon realized the opportunity to continue their legacy and line of power was in their hands. So, they continued bringing nephilim in the world in relative secret, blessing them with fractions of their own power to manipulate reality. Although infertile from birth, these nephilim's extended lifespan and growing mastery in the usage of their angelic powers meant that even if the fallen angels themselves were destroyed through divine means, their essence would remain intertwined with human history.   The nephilim's human bodies insulated their demonic souls, hiding their presence from the angels up high. While this was an effective method of battling the angels' inevitable purging of their children, the fallen angels knew that having them be too close-knit would make staying incognito problematic. To combat this, the nephilim were forcibly scattered across the world, being embedded into numerous different societies and cultures. Unbeknownst to the fallen angels, however, was the extent that the nephilim's affinities would be shaped by their difference in geography.
