01 - Welcome to GrimGlory

The world of GrimGlory is known by many names by many different peoples, but most humans in the Known Lands have taken to calling the planet Uthra.

Four continents comprise the western hemisphere of Uthra, collectively called the Known Lands. Despite this title, however, much of these continents has been unexplored by humanity.

The icebound continent that forms the northwestern boundary of the Known Lands is known as Gjaran, named for the Titan of Frost, is last bastion of the Gigantes, the giants, an arctic landscape littered with the ruins of their once mighty empire.

The southern continent is the land of the Beastfolk, from which they have spread throughout the world, it is divided into four regions: The Great Desert, the Verdant North, the Wildlands, and the

The eastern continent of Zǔxiān Zhī Dì (Land of the Ancestors) - often referred to as simply Dì - home to the warring dynasties of the Twelve Transcendent Immortals, whose great power enabled them to reach heights few other mortals have been able to even glimpse but who are now embroiled in civil war as each faction struggles to claim dominion over the lands. It is believed this continent was once home to one of the great draconic empires, and the land itself is still imbued with the remnants of their ancient pacts with the spirits.

As for other continents, there are rumors and legends that speak of the lost homeland of humanity or that the dragons must have gone somewhere... but none in the Known Lands can claim to know the truth.

The campaign setting takes its names from the the shadowy realm of the Wyrd, known as The Grim, and the the Wyld, fey realm called Gloria, and like those two realms that coexist with the Mortal world, it is a land filled with extreme beauty and unfathomable dangers.
