Preparation - Part the Second
In my semi-psychotic goal of shooting for a total #Blackout on the bingo before December 1st, here's the second row progress thus far!
Tidy Up (Prepare) Your Writing Space
This one is actually a semi-free space for me, since I tend to keep my desk fairly minimalist and tidy, so instead of just completely marking it as 100% done, I'm setting up my physical accoutrements that I anticipate needing, so I don't have to go hunting for them on the day of!

Define Your Scope for WorldEmber
Primarily, my focus is on creating enough of a "Player Primer" that I could start DMing the first campaign arc starting in January. Which means, I need to have the player creation rules at least outlined, the player races/species fleshed out, the new classes detailed, and enough world background information created so that players can hit the ground running.
That also means that I've got some other things to try and get finished between now and then!
Review Your World Primer Article
Considering that's my primary goal for the month of December, there's not much there... however, I've created an outline and been working on all my "Behind the Scenes" categories (credits, copyright, inspirations, acknowledgements & trigger warnings).
Find an Accountability Buddy
One of my author friends (Alanea Alder - seriously, if you enjoy Paranormal Romance, go read her stuff) from my romance writing days is going to be my primary accountability buddy, mostly because we tend to keep each other company in Discord while we're working anyways. She's also going to be world building for one of her fantasy campaigns/books, so hoping to drag her over here... and actually be able to help her set things up.
Get Some Feedback
There's really not too much created yet. I've scavenged some stuff from some abandoned projects that I'll be retrofitting for GrimGlory, and that stuff my friends have appreciated. Mostly, getting feedback will end up coming as the world building "officially" begins on December 1st, eh?
Afterward...
Wow, looking at that, a bunch of it is "soon as WorldEmber starts" stuff for me. I did get some other prep done, that's not on the Bingo Card. I developed a basic draft of world logo, watched the CSS design videos to set the basic design for my world page, painted my first map of the world, and started outlining a short story collection (or possibly a novel, still deciding) set in the world... so there's that, too!
