The Sauced Stag
The bar for the common folk in Athens. This is your general party spot for the average Athenian. Complete with passed out drunks, and friends catching up on old times, to those just trying to relax after a long day. Folk of every stripe find themselves at the Stag at one point or another. It is tended by Adriane (elf, owner), Ceres (dwarf), and Larthanges (goes by Lars, human)
Purpose / Function
A watering hole for the citizens of Athens.
Design
A large rectangular room, sitting about 30X40. It's smaller rooms adjoining are 12X24 and 10X30 respectively. Each room has it's own bar, the main having the largest, along with several different tables to sit at. The floors are a different set of woods, but it's exterior sports 5 large marble columns, as this tavern sits right across from the Triumverate building.
Entries
There is one entrance to the building, several if you count each space between a pillar.
Sensory & Appearance
Because of it's open air feel, the Stag smells like the open air of Athens, specifically, olive and pine. The light is dependent on that of the day, but late at night there are old fashioned torches that get lit.
Denizens
Students, commoners, and everyone in between.
Ceres runs the left bar, Larthanges runs the right.
Alterations
You can actually see where the Stag has grown over the years. New additions are added on to show it's need for space.
Architecture
A mix of pine, olive, and oak planks compose the floor in different rooms. The Sauced Stag is a large rectangle with two smaller rectangles attached on either side of the main bar.
History
The Stag has been in Athens for centuries now, the oldest tavern in town by far. It's been in the same family since it's construction. Now it falls to Adriane.
