Cull and Crossbow
One of the most popular taverns in Athens. It rests dockside of the great city-state and finds itself full of sailors and city dwellers alike. Here folks gamble, drink, sing, and dance to the popular tunes of the age. It's a roaring time for all. It is run by Rhodes (owner, human), Aurora (half-orc), Jax (warforged), Jason (human)
Purpose / Function
To serve amazing drinks and to make sure all have a good time.
Design
The room is a near perfect round, nearly forty feet in diameter. The floors are a red brick, with a white marble fireplace. The ceilings are high, nearly twelve feet, with a flat wooden roof.
Entries
There's only one entrance to the cull and crossbow, it sits opposite the bar. There is another door behind the bar which leads to where the owner keeps inventory.
Sensory & Appearance
Smells of lemon, burning wood in the fireplace, and the smallest hint of fish. It is dimly lit, with lamps hung up around the walls. At almost all hours there is music playing and people enjoying the revelry.
Denizens
Here you'll find sailors and traders of all kinds. The barkeeps are Aurora, Jax, and Jason.
Contents & Furnishings
The seating is comfortable, long couches adorn the walls with tables all about. There are game boards and card tables throughout.
Architecture
A mostly wooden structure by the docks with brick flooring. The bar is made of a spotless oak that is almost always polished to shining. There is a marble fireplace in the corner by the bar.
