Pilot Model

Pilot Models are a unique breed, even amongst the intentionally unique models of M's.
  They cannot match models like the Industrial and CS Models in their strong suits, nor are they truly jacks of all trades. What sets them apart is the Cranial sockets that they are produced with. These sockets, located on the sides of the rear of the skull, allow for connections to be made directly to the Machine-Mind. Dangerous, if one isn't careful, but useful when precision is needed.
  Mechs, for industry and war, VTOLs, airships, spaceships, solar sailors, tanks, sailing ships, etc. Their direct connection allows a degree of control someone using only their hands and eyes can't even begin to manage.
