Fiannael

One of the four nations north of the Engal Wall Fiannael is the counterpoint to Blight. Always eager to match or argue with them. To stand in in their path when the can, as their biggest and loudest detractors.   Fiannael cannot match Blight in its colonial holdings, as it has only a few, but is lucky in the sense that the nation is on top of many valuable resources. If they'd truly be able to match Blight is up in the air, but both sides are convinced that the nation could. They try to play up to this image as much as they can, and when the two nations interact it an seem like Fiannael goes out of it's way to get under foot. They never compromise, and are difficult to negotiate with as they rarely stand for anything that isn't complete capitulation to their demands.    Ever the mirror, Fiannael focuses on combined infantry tactics as well as cutting edge warsuits and body armor in it's military operation. It's comparatively limited fleet of airships works in tandem with it's ground forces, firing from afar to provide cover and suppression.    Fiannael culture is a boisterous one, always loud and always raucous. They take great joy in life itself, knowing that in this world of ours a life can easily be cut short. Most every town, colony, and city under a Fiannael banner is under control of a single family, who runs most if not all major governmental seats. Political power in the country is often held by multiple intermarried families, combining their reach in their holdings to put pressure on other families to get what they want.    At a glance, the nation is ruled by a "Banaich", voted in by the heads of every family within their official codex. The Banaich holds some power, but does have to work with the clans if they were to make a concerted effort to disrupt the agenda of the Banaich. In all reality, the Banaic and their whole family are the ones placed in charge. The appointment is for a lifetime, and many manage to make it to the end of their appointment. From natural causes, surprisingly. It's all a matter of who you have backing you up and watching your blind spots.    As for it's holdings abroad, Fiannael holds many farming towns on the surface of Aphrodite, which provide a lot of the manpower Fiannael deploys in the field. Other than a handful of terrestrial colonies, they don't really have much else.    Over all, their models of M's are mostly Military Models, though there are a large number of Agrarian models and Industrial Models on Aphrodite.
