Lars is an old mercenary gone shopkeeper, after he lost his leg, who buys and sells "adventuring equipment" using his cunning eye for value. You might not get the best prices, but you can be almost certain he will buy what you have.
Besides this the shop "Paraphernalia ", also serves as a hub for interesting stories and hints at new possible quests, since Lars always takes a good story or legend, as part of any deal.
"Come back whenever you have treasure to sell", is usually his parting words.
