Pearl of Spirit

It is said that spiders capture spirits and bind them in their webs. When a spirit cannot escape before the dawn, it crystallizes into a dew-like drop of pure crystal. These drops, called pearls of spirit, can be collected by a gentle hand. A soft touch is necessary, because the spirit escapes if the web is broken or the pearl is crushed.
  Spirit pearls are usually collected for use in alchemy or in jewelry. They can help enhance the magical properties of a plant if they're placed on them. When placed in this manner, they are hard to distinguish from dew drops.
