To the Pathfinder in whose hands this volume now rests: This is your official Pathfinder Society Field Handbook, a compendium of guidelines, codes, and reference materials deemed essential by the Society’s leadership. It is not merely a book, but a symbol of your oath to Explore, Report, and Cooperate.

- Instructions for conduct in the field, both with allies and among foreign powers.

- A registry of known factions and their operational goals.

- Protocols for accepting charters, submitting mission reports, and claiming earned prestige.

- Clarifications on inter-agent disputes, rewards, and organizational structure.

This volume is your responsibility. Should it be lost or destroyed, you are expected to report to the nearest Venture-Captain without delay. Replacement copies can be requisitioned through the Grand Lodge archives. Be warned: habitual misplacement may result in assignment to cataloguing duty in the Absalom sewers.

If you find this book and are not a Pathfinder, we urge you to return it to the Grand Lodge in Absalom or a known Pathfinder lodge. In return, you shall receive a modest finder’s fee and the gratitude of our archivists.
