After finishing all the paperwork and paying all the fees, the three founding members of the Divine Guardians finally form the team!

Jaxson was bouncing up and down in his seat, clearly excited. This is it! Once they finished all the final work, they will officially be recognized as a team and can start legally doing hero work!   "Will you stop? You're making the chair squeak," Evening's voice suddenly penetrated his ears, and he instinctively stopped. He looked over at her, and saw her leaning to the side in her chair, head leaning on her hand. Was she... nervous?   "You okay?" Jaxson asked her, and her eyes moved to him without moving her head. Just that simple movement told him everything he needed to know.   "Everything will go smoothly, I know it. You don't have to worry about anything," he said, placing his hand on top of her free hand. She didn't move, but he kept it placed there.   "Trust me, they would have to have a pretty good reason to deny us with my name on there," Max suddenly interjected, and Jaxson looked at him. "Not to brag or anything, but I am a member of royalty, even if I don't like to admit it," he grinned lightly at his own statement, and Jaxson smiled. He was right; if a prince was apart of this, it would automatically make them look good.   He sensed that Evening realized this as well, as he could feel her relax more under his hand. He removed his hand, not wanting to make her uncomfortable now that she was starting to ease up.   "Evelyn, Jaxson, and Maxwell?" someone's voice called, and the three looked towards the source. It was from a nicely dressed lady standing in a doorway, and Jaxson immediately stood up, catching the attention of the woman. "Please follow me."   The other two stood up, and they followed her down different hallways until they ended up at what they assumed to be her office. She motioned for them to take a seat, as there were multiple chairs by a desk. Jaxson and Max sat down, but Evening stayed standing.   "So I have all your paperwork here, and I have the records of your submitted fee payments. I just need to grab a few signatures from you three for the final set of paperwork, and then you will be all set," the lady explained as she typed away on her computer. Jaxson was grinning from ear to ear, Max looked content, and Evening still seemed on edge.   "So, who will be the leader of the team?" the lady asked, and the three looked at each other. They hasn't discussed that yet.   "Does there need to be a leader?" Evening asked. The lady nodded.   "Legally, yes," she responded. Evening and Jaxson looked to Max.   "You're funding us, do you want to be the leader?" Jaxson asked, and Max shook his head.   "I only want to be the money source, I don't want a leadership position. I feel like Evening would be the best leader," Max answered, and Evening's eyes widened.   "Me?" she asked, clearly caught off guard.   "You are the strongest out of the three of us, and you clearly have great leadership potential from what I've gathered from you so far," he explained, and Jaxson nodded along with him.   "Um... I don't..." she trailed off, not sure how to rebut that.   "There can also be a co-leader if you're uncomfortable with there only being one leader," the lady suddenly interjected, and Evening looked at Jaxson.   "If I'm going to be the leader, and Max doesn't want a leadership position, then you will be the co-leader," she said to him, and Jaxson thought for a moment. He also didn't want a leadership position, but he wasn't in a position to argue.   "A-alright..." he mumbled, and the lady started typing away. She handed them a paper to sign, and when they handed it back to her, she scanned it into her computer.   "Now, what about your team name?"   They all looked at each other again. Clearly they didn't think everything through like they thought.   "Umm..." Jaxson mumbled, and Max made a humming noise. Its hard to think of something on the spot.   "The Divine Guardians," Evening suddenly said, and the two looked at her, shocked.   "That's a nice name," the lady said with a smile before typing into her computer.   "Where did you come up with that?" Jaxson asked, surprised. Evening stared ahead, her eyes filled with confusion.   "I... I don't know..." she said softly. Before Jaxson could ask if she was okay, he was suddenly handed another paper to sign.   They signed a few more papers before the lady scanned all of them and handed each of them a a stack of copies.   "Congratulations, The Divine Guardians; you are now legally a hero team. Go and protect this beautiful city," the lady said with a smile, and Jaxson grinned widely as he stood up quickly.   "Thank you so much!" he said excitedly, shaking her hand. Max smiled at her, and Evening nodded at her.   "This is it, guys! We're finally a team!" Jaxson exclaimed as they left her office and went back down the hall.   "I told you we would be accepted," Max said, purposefully sounding smug. Jaxson playfully hit him in the shoulder as they both laughed.   "We really did it..." Evening mumbled under her breath, and Jaxson looked over at her. There was a hint of a smile on her face as she looked down at the floor, and Jaxson grinned.
