The Hatchling

The Hatchling is covered in bluish red scales and has a white underbelly. His wings are slightly tanslucent with a red hue. His horns are small and ungrown, having more of a resembleance to spines.

The Hatchling seems to have an allergy to blood. When exposed to blood, he will sneeze and cough like most humanoids will when exposed to pollen or dust.   When he has an allergic reaction to blood, he may unconsciously sometimes cast a spell of use a breath weapon.

Due to his hybrid nature, he exibits the abilities of multiple elments. Though currently the full extent of these abilities is unknown, he knows that he can breath fire, makes electrical sparks when coughing or sneezing, and seemingly can't feel cold.   The Hatchling seems to have the ability to use healing magic. Though to what extent is not fully known.

When Gatha's child hatched, she was immediately disgusted by his "impure" hybrid nature. She ordered the Hatchling to be killed just minutes after laying eyes on him. One of her luitenants, a female red dragon named Sedrane, felt pity for the Hatchling and helped him escape the Grand Hall. When Gatha found out about the Hatchling's escape she had Sedrane executed for disobeying orders. Gatha then ordered that the Hatchling be hunted down and killed, as his existence not only implicates her in several sexual affairs, but also threatans the "purity" of the draconic race.   The Hatchling ran and hid through the Dragonlands, evading Imperial patrols and search parties. After several months on the run, he was able to stow away in the cargo hold of an Imperial troop transport ship bound for Iyass. When the ship landed and was being unloaded, he was discovered by tiefling thralls that were unloading the ship. The thralls had no orders pretaining to a young dragon so they ignored the Hatchling's presence, allowing him to escape.   The Hatcling wandereed across southern and central Iyass looking for safetey. When he came to the ruins of Venmaya he met an Esoran special forces unit that was in the city to recover the crew of a Republicanl T-306 Pegasus that crashed in the city.   The operatives offered to take him with them out of the city as a refugee. The Hatchling gleefuly accepted, happy to finally find someone who didn't want him dead. However, a Imperial search party looking for the Hatchling came across the group and attacked. The Esoran operatives were killed and the Hatchling fled the city.   Having overheard from the Esorans that Whitesburg was a relative safe haven, he decided to head there.   On his way to Whitesburg the Hatchling passed through the ruins of Ducatel. There he found a squad of Republican scouts that were operating in the city. The scouts recognized him as a hybrid, and called for an HVT extraction.   Currently, the Imperials are still looking for him and will leave no stone unturned til they find him.

Due to spending most of his short life on the run, he is very skiddish.
