Horils
Horils are an anthropoid Chilovakian race native to the Dischitar and now present mostly in the Dominion of Dvekmenia.
The horils have been considered moribund for a long time. Capable of interbreeding with humans and creating viable offspring, their continued existence relies almost exclusively on the small, traditional communities of horils that dot Dvekmenia which shun outsiders, as the cosmopolitan horil populations that existed in times past have disappeared into the human populations of southern Sossis.
They are towering, often breaching seven feet; they have burly or muscular builds. They have large features and reddish skin. They do not grow hair above their necks, and may choose to shave their body hair for religious purposes. They will very often sport tattoos across their limbs and/or face. Their bodies are sometimes wretched from a lifetime of difficult labour.
