Autognomes

Autognomes are minuscule automatons specifically created by the gnome artificers of Magnapolis in their own image. Unlike the larger models that are often built for menial tasks, the autognomes are foremost companions and assistant exhibiting their own quirks and performing peculiar hijinks.   Autognomes were first developed by Master Artificer Gnosticus Marvellan, following his father Bombasticus's early blueprints. Marvellan's creations are especially lively and full of personality, and their superior craftsmanship has made them desired companions all around Chronan. The most care was put into the "Dreadnought line", which consider each other as siblings.   However, most of the modern autognomes are mass-manufactured at the Gadgetory in northern Magnapolis, instead of made by hand like the older models. Because of this, the new models are prone to malfunction. Rumors say that the owners of the Gadgetory stole the technology from Marvellan, but missed some key factors.
