Spooky Water

Discovered and dubbed "Spooky Water" by the First Echwink Expedition, this liquid native to Vardura allegedly holds mysterious and magical properties. Consumed in vast quantities by scholars, explorers, and laborers alike, Spooky Water induced acute psychosis, spiritual malleability, and frantic celebration.   Imbibing the substance en masse seemed to have inspired the formation of The Ashen and its use was central to their practice.  

The Second Echwink Expedition

  Currently, the supply of Spooky Water has disappeared from Vardura. The adventuring party known as The Suckhole Six reportedly has the only sample yet found during the Second Echwink Expedition. Studies have yet to be performed on the substance.   According to Lady Blight of Swango Swamp, the Spooky Water was funnelled away 20 years ago east to the Maizegrown as part of a treaty that barred them from the swamp.
