Vay'Mek-Mu

Vay Mek Mu towers in both presence and purpose: tall even by Ogre standards, her green-tinted skin marked by scars that map hunts past. Her brown hair is braided tight to keep it from a swing of her bone-and-hide war-axe—a weapon of her own making, draped in furs from beasts she alone felled in the Vargen Swamplands. As wife to Ug‑Col’Ek, Chief of the Blades, she holds the title of Pillar of the Hunt—a position that binds her to both the rites of predator and the council of war.   In the murky depths of the Swamplands she moves like storm-light, silent and sudden. Her patrols are feared: a distant howl, the ripple of water, a flash of fur and bone—and the intruder’s throat is no longer theirs to breathe through. To her clan she is protector-queen: to those who trespass she is apex predator incarnate.   When the sun sets low and the mist rises thick, it is said that Vay returns to the marsh’s edge, draped in night’s colors, listening to the thrum of the croaker-frogs and the creaks of the hunters. Her husband leads strategy; she leads silence and steel. In her world, survival is measured in broken spears and drained bloodlines of prey. Her oath is as cold and resolute as swamp-water at dawn.   When her husband went to war with the Blood Ogres who layed claim to the Mir’Dhat Acropolis, she met her end in the sandy desert of old Sirocco as she fought against the Shatterbrand and the Goldfists. Her people carried her body back to be layed to rest in the swamp she knew so well.
