Vaellora, Lady of Lullaby
The Lady of Lullaby
The Dream Herald
Vaellora, an ethereal aelfe, has eyes that glow with a silver-blue hue, reflecting the tides of dreams. Her face speckled with flecks of orange glitter. In life, she was a bard who wandered the Galfin countryside, collecting songs and stories of old. Many songs sung to sleeping souls were crafted by this aelfe of old. Her music captivated audiences, but she was drawn deeper into the mystery of dreams when she began experiencing prophetic visions in her sleep. Elevated to the role of Dream Herald, Vaellora now sings the melodies of Twilight itself, soothing the strands of the Weave and calming restless dreamers. Her voice is said to be able to mend broken strands, and she holds great sway among the Sepulchre and the astral beings of the Weave.
Carries a pitch black staff that brightens any space it enter by absorbing the darkness.
The Dream Herald, once the revered voice of Twilight, is a being whose grandeur has decayed under the weight of her eternal duty. Her towering, translucent form shimmers with the faint iridescence of dreams, an ever-shifting cascade of hues that pulses in time with the Weave’s rhythms. Once a figure of inspiration, she now casts a foreboding shadow over her realm. Her elongated features are tired, her luminous eyes dimmed by the constant flow of dreams that crash against her mind like ceaseless waves.
Long ago, the Dream Herald excelled at her sacred task, weaving the countless threads of mortal dreams into a harmonious tapestry. Yet, the theft of the Orbicus of Sleep severed her direct connection to Twilight’s goddess, leaving her mind silenced from the cacophony of dreams. Consumed by resentment, she now seeks to end the dreaming entirely.
The Dream Herald, once the guardian of this realm, has become corrupted. Burdened by ceaseless visions, she now conspires with the Lucidity, longing for an end to all dreams so she can rest. It was under her orders that the Orbicus was stolen, severing the city's connection to Twilight and leaving its inhabitants vulnerable.
