Across the rolling plains and jagged hills, small fortified villages rise like sentinels, their guardians never far. The Oathblades of the Blade Ogres move with quiet purpose, settling only where welcomed, swearing eternal loyalty to the landowner who grants them refuge. Each warrior trains for decades, mastering blade, tactics, and discipline, forming a community bound by iron, blood, and vow.
  They are more than soldiers—they are inheritors of promises, with oaths that outlive their lifetimes, handed down from parent to child. Never mercenaries, never invaders, they strike only in defence, their allegiance absolute. Their devotion extends beyond flesh: Everglade, sister of Foulrot, watches over their homes, guiding hands and tempering fury. When an Oathblade steps forward, sword drawn, they embody centuries of loyalty, honour, and unyielding protection, a living shield for those who called them home.
