Muskeet Bog
Within Hallowpeak's lurching expanse lies Muskeet Bog, where mist clings to every gnarled root and waterlogged stone. The swamp floor pulses with life—frogs croak in hidden pools, moss drips from bent cattails, and ember-bright mushrooms glow in brackish shadows. Paths of soggy earth weave toward its neighbouring waterways such as the ominous Bog of Shadows or the dense tangle of Boggan Swamp. All the waters meandering together to soften teh earth of the entire region.
From the foggy boundary, one can glimpse Enonera’s twilight spires and hear the faint echo of distant currents that drain into Lake Lirean. Draughty breezes whisper tales of ancient magic, carried across the quaking grounds from places like Murkwind Fens and Westvale Bayou. Few dare traverse these soggy corridors, for each step might summon unseen creatures or stir the murky depths where secrets slumber. Even standing still, you feel watched, as though the swamp itself remembers every traveller who ever crossed its path.
