For many years it was thought the infamous traitor Flint was the one who stabbed her in the back while stealing an artifact that was meant to give great power to Pacura. Her ally Thresh of Typhon was actually the one to take her life as well as her husband Tarn. Flint stole the artifact when he realized Thresh was about to massacre everyone who opposed him. Flint took the scuffle after Lyna’s death as a distraction and dissapeared with the Phylactery. Thresh and his followers lied to everyone about what happened to the Stormblood of Gyaron.
