Liluum, Wakener of the Woods
In the deep, shimmering heart of Zinth, where morning light seeps through curtains of moss and dew gathers thick on the roots, Liluum stirs before the dawn. Her bark gleams with streaks of pale gold, and her vast limbs creak as she rises from her resting grove. She is the Wakener of the Woods — the one who ushers life from its nightly slumber.
When the sun touches the treetops, Liluum’s hands brush over fern and flower alike, calling them into bloom. Birds follow her wake, their songs beginning only once she passes. Animals, still drowsy from the cool dark, lift their heads to her warmth. Every leaf that unfolds, every creature that stirs, does so beneath her watch.
Once, her predecessor Mossfoot tended these same woods for millennia. Now Liluum bears the cathedral mantle, her duty bound to the rhythm of light and shadow. She has stood for centuries beside her husband, Elmgard, and beneath the high canopies of the Oakenthicket, her brother Greenmarrow watches over the roots she guards.
Though her face is calm and her speech slow as sap, the forest itself listens when Liluum moves. Her presence is the living breath of Zinth’s waking day.
