Gedwyn Rawlin was buried here. He is an ancestor of Lionheart in Wildehail and the Bronze Bull in Blackstock.
He killed the Bone Blight by feeding him to the marsh dragon.
The hollow is sought by magical creatures. The Pale Queen took hold of it until she was forced out after an attack from the Bone Blight.
The Bone Blight somehow has the Brindlebark’s soul within him and activated the Death Seed, making it discoverable.
The Cardinalhood took it from the Undead Acres until it was stolen by the Wealdwalkers or the Timekeepers.
Now the Pale Queen has the Seed and plans to use Gedwyn’s Hollow to quickly grow a Death Tree to consume the Overgrowth.
The Bone Blight wants the seed to take on the Cathedral title of Whitherer, using his power to enact revenge on the family that killed him.
