Drybridge
Drybridge is a village in Wexford within the Gaulan Plains, founded by Seth Mandrake. It is currently governed by his great grandson, Magus Mandrake, a member of the Cult of the Harvest Star.
The town is built within an old dried up riverbed. The Provincial Lord from centuries ago built dams all around his iron mountain and this caused many of the down river farms to fail.
Seth Mandrake was the first to perform the Rites of the Harvest Star to summon the Killcrow spirit, a creature who gives them good harvests if enough sacrifices are made. Many years the people who formed the Cult of the Harvest Star have come up short and strggled through cold winters.
The village is situated near Redmont Castle, a formidable stronghold built atop a high mound of iron, owned by the House of Borgia. The castle's iron-rich terrain causes rainwater runoff to turn crimson, giving the streets a red hue. The area is also known for its iron mines, contributing to the wealth and power of Redmont.
