Raxus Catmar Lotus.
A delicate flower that is known for both its beauty, and flavor. Grown almost exclusively on the soil of Raxis it is one of the few exports the planet produces and both a delicacy and valued as a plant off world. While it CAN be grown off-world it requires soil from Raxus and will only seed in atmospheric conditions similar to Raxus leading to cultivation outside of Raxus being rare.
The plant will live for years in soil from Raxus, and is often sold in pots and planters filled with Raxus' soil, with a nutrient pack and proper watering and temperature the plant can live indoors for many years.
The flower sheds its leaves monthly, and the leaves can be gathered up and crushed into a sweet and spicy seasoning, or brewed into a liquid to make tea. (the flavor is quite strong so it is often brewed into a pot and cut with water or other liquids when ready for drinking.)
The bulb of the plant is quite toxic, and the stem will cause major itching if its skin is punctured.
The flower typically spreads by enticing local wildlife to eat the flower in a single bite, once eaten the seeds will pass through the digestive system.
Thus the flowers bloom often.

Distribution
Trade & Market
Raxus does not export this in large quantities thus it is often very expensive off-world, on-world it is basically valueless.
While some private ventures have attempted to sell these in large quantities off-world, the Government of Raxus refuses to allow largescale cultivation of the plant beyond the local inhabitant's needs, which due to Raxus's sparse population, is limited.
During the Imperial occupation, the local Government chose to limit exports to artificially inflate the price and pocket considerable funds from sales despite almost negligible cost of production.
