Gnolls

Gnolls are the less-successful result of the ancient arcane experiments which created the Wildlings. The taint of Otherfire resulted in more bestial results, with greater strength and readiness to fight, but left them with a voracious hunger and fury. Like wildlings, gnolls can bear the aspect of many different beasts, although the most successful and so most widespread aspects are the hyaena and the goat. They are a little shorter than most humans, but a hunched, digitigrade frame conceals a surprising bulk and many possess a frightening physical strength.   Gnolls do not typically form sophisticated social groups. Instead, family groups collectively find employment with other societies, usually as mercenaries and bounty hunters. This line of work has done little for the reputation of the lineage, and made it hard for them to find any other occupation.
