Darkness
Darkness is the Divine Element of negation and reaction. It is not the absence of Light, but its equal partner, perpetuating and regulating the motion that Light begins. Darkness is the emanation of the Fundamental Divinity TO and represents that which will survive until the inevitable end of all things.
Pure Darkness exists only in TO. Even in the Ash it is bound with Otherfire, and in the world within with the material elements. There are no elementals of Darkness, only the Devils who defence the World from the Hungers without.
