The Thegndom of Calyr is actually made up of two
Orthnaran thegndoms. Located in the south of
Boriya, Calyr lies in the luminance, and it made up of the jungles of Lasan, north of the Wyldery Mountains, and the badlands of Dishet to the south. It is ruled by a small dynasty of
Mortal Giants in the mountain halls of Hydris. This city controls the headwaters of the Lasa and the Sheta, and by doing so, most of the potable water in Dishet, if not all of Calyr. The Thegn is bound to the Ladies of the Rising Waters, twin divinities of the river springs.
The commercial centre of the Thegndom is in the twin cities of Eska and Akse, at the mouths of the east and west Sheta rivers. The rest of the oopulation, mostly giant-kin and humans, are nomadic.
