Dragonborn
Born originally of Dragon Eggs brought to Gaia by Benata.
Since then they have procreated asexually, laying their own eggs to raise.
Dragonborn originally hatched from dragon eggs as a unique race, combining the best attributes of dragons and humanoids. Some dragonborn are faithful servants to true dragons, others form the ranks of soldiers in great wars, and still others find themselves adrift, with no clear calling in life.

Basic Information
Anatomy
A dragonborn is a bipedal being, with the tail of a dragon but no wings. They are covered in scales, typically alligned with their hatching environment.
Biological Traits
All Dragonborns have the ability to breath magic into the world. Some are fire, or acid, or even thunder. It is all magic in origin, yet cannot be affected by magically dead-zones or spells that cancel magic. This is seen as a gift from the dragons that once bore them, as dragons have the anatomy needed for their breath, where as a dragonborn's bipedal form does not have enough space for the anatomy needed to produce it internally.
Genetics and Reproduction
Dragonborn's reporduce asexually. In order to begin the gestation period of creating the egg, the dragon born must consume twice as much food as normal, and must be surrounded by either their hoard or their clan.
The period of time needed for the egg to be created, but before being laid, cannot be less than 2 moons, nor more than 5 moons, or else the shell of the egg will either be too brittle (too little time) and will not yeild a babe, or will be harder than stone (too much time) thus even if the little one in the egg did survive, they would be shell-bound and never make it out of the egg. This is a very tedious process.
Once the egg has been laid, it must be surrounded by the element of the parent, i.e. in fire for dragonborns that have a fire breath, etc. This can be difficult given some elements, though not impossible. For example, if the parent were to have lightning, radient, force, necrotic or thunder as their breath then the egg must be brought to Dragon Island, birthplace of Dragons, to find the correct birthing pool for the egg to be nestled with. Idealy this would occur when the dragons have returned to the island to watch over their own clutches so that they would be the egg's charge until hatching.
The dragonborn will be in the egg for a period of 3 months, then they must break open the shell themselves. Contrary to popular belief, they do not get attached to the first being that they see and imprint. Once the parent has fed them, bathed them and slept with them nestled by their tail do they imprint and recognise that is their parent.
A dragonborn babe that is not cared for by their parent will instinctually find another to fulfil their needs, never knowing who their parent was. This has been seen numerous times due to the amount of death in Fowda.

Growth Rate & Stages
Young dragonborn grow quickly. They walk hours after hatching, attain the size and development of a 10-year-old human child by the age of 3, and reach adulthood by 15. They live to be around 80.
Additional Information
Social Structure
It is very common to have clans with a leader that is passed via lineage rather than by electing another, however if there is not a suitable heir one can be 'elected' if they are close enough in lineage. This gets tricky, since all dragonborn's are produced asexually, but not impossible. One parent may have layed the egg, and a different dragonborn can still be considered a/the parent once they have hatched. This is very common and makes tracking parentage very important to dragonborns, as it is not by blood are they neccasarilly related.
Facial characteristics
Dragonborns have more angular faces, like that of their dragon ancestors, with scales covering them from head to tail. They can have horns protruding from their skulls depending on how involved a dragon was in their hatching, but typically their skull will be more formed to have the ridges and bumps, also known as occispeaks (OH-see-peaks).
Geographic Origin and Distribution
Dragonborn's will typically stick to where dragon breeding grounds can be found. This makes it easier when reproducing to have the correct environment for the egg to hatch in.
Often times, if you can find Dragonborns not too far off you will also find Dragons.

Civilization and Culture
Naming Traditions
Dragonborn have personal names given at birth, but they put their clan names first as a mark of honor.
A childhood name or nickname is often used among clutchmates as a descriptive term or a term of endearment. The name might recall an event or center on a habit.

Interspecies Relations and Assumptions
It is not frowned upon to mate with another specie necessarily but as reproduction can only be done asexually it will often be more common to stick with another dragonborn for the raising of eachothers' eggs.
While a dragonborn has the genetalia required to engage in sexual endeavors with other races, they are considered infertile as they cannot reproduce with others.
