Lull

Lull was Gand’s first metropolitan city and the first major kitham settlement. It was an ocean-side hub of trade and activity which orcs and kitham alike used prior to the migration of elves. Lull was a prominent place who everyone knew the location of but as it fell into ruin so too did most of it's history. Very few records of the location exist in the present day, As such, no one is entirely sure where it actually was, although some theorise its location is the same place of modern day Denmaerd.   The settlement was important because it allowed a safe place for kith and orc to form alliances but it also became a area of conflict during the The Kitham-Elven Conflict wherin both sides vied for ownership of the land that would turn the tides of the battle.   It is here that The folk hero Marcestra De Deir is said to have begun her journey when her boat was plundered for supplies by Elven sorcerers and she was left or dead. She would go on to amass an army of kith to face the elven forces.   Lull would ultimately become the final battle ground in the The Kitham-Elven Conflict, where the kith, led by Du Deir were able to fend off the invading Elven fighters who would ultimately be forced to broker peace. The damage done to Lull during this battle was extensive and the town, too damaged to repair was left to turn to dust. With it's residents instead resettling to to many of the plain settlements cropping up which would be designated as kith territory, one of these settlements would form the basis of modern day Rakside

Demographics

Lull was a primarily kith city or various wealth, ethnicities and professions. The city had an emphasis on fishing, fabric and woodwork but attracted people of all walks of life. It also was a place where both kith and orc could trade and mingle in relative peace.
