Flæmr (fleɪmir)
God of Fire and Freedom
Flæmr is the God of Freedom and Fire, and is the head of The New Age Pantheon (LINK), who laid low the remnants of the old pantheon several centuries ago in an event known as Godsfall (LINK). They appear as an androgynous figure made of fire, with the different colours of fire swirling together to create the illusion of detail, for example hotter blue fire making up the eyes and the inside of the mouth, white fire highlighting the form and the hair, and orange-yellow fire making up the majority of the form.
Flæmr sometimes appears in Azantium, walking through the markets and the back alleys. More commonly Flæmr’s booming voice speaks over Azantium, which a large flaming silhouette appearing in the sky. Flæmr typically only speaks in regard to enmasse breaches of freedom, for example if some grave injustice has been done, Flæmr will announce it, followed by a promise of a reward to whomever helps stamp it out, and rescue those imprisoned, or enslaved, or whatever the issue at the time is.
The last time Flæmr spoke was to endorse the Xern Troop’s expedition, and to announce that a select few of Their churches will be in attendance.
Tenets of Faith
Flæmr has a single key tenet; Freedom for all, and the consequences.
A person should have absolute freedom over their own life, but must also accept the consequences for their decisions, or be made to.

Trivia:- The symbol æ is from the Old English Latin alphabet, it was called æsc, or “Ash Tree” after the Anglo-Saxon futhorc rune ᚫ which it transliterated; its traditional name in English is still ash, or æsh is the ligature is included. This is a fun reference to the fact that Flæmr is a god of fire.
