Adventurer

An adventurer is a public hero, they roam the lands, part of mighty guilds and bound together by shared oaths of protection and civic service. That's the ideal at least.   Adventurers need to complete a Loop of the plains at least once every five years, and are required to assist with all possibe effort to nearby elf attacks, or, if they cannot feasibly assist with combat, must assist with evacuation and protection of civilians.

Qualifications

To be a licensed adventurer you must swear the Stone Oath, also known as the Foundational Promise before the Stone Tower.

Payment & Reimbursement

In exchange for fulfilling the duties of an adventurer, the adventurer receives the prescribed reward for each job.

Other Benefits

As an adventurer, in exchange for completing their sworn oaths, they are afforded the Adventurer's Dues, this term is an umbrella for a collection of rights that are afforded to the adventurer.
  1. The ability to appropriate equipment, tool, and supplies
  2. The ability to make arrests with authority of the Emperor
  3. The ability to receive heavy discounts, or even free services and goods from certain stores and organisations like alchemists
  Any abuse of the Adventurer's Dues are met with extremely harsh punishment, the least of which is the immediate termination of the Adventurer License.
